I'm sure you have good intentions... just like I do. BUT... it's inevitable and happens to everyone.
Hey...AntsCEO Here At The Builderall Platform,
Let's face it...
As human beings, we suck!
Not at everything... but there is ONE thing we all kinda struggle with.
And it's following through on things we say we're gonna do (YES...even when you pinky swear).
A mentor of mine told me this awhile back, and it's soooo true!
In life...a very, very small percentage of people actually do what they say they're going to do.
This is MAGNIFIED when it comes to New Year's Resolutions... but the reality is it happens every single day. Tell me if either of these scenarios sounds familiar:
- On a Saturday or Sunday, you hear a friend or family member pledge to start a new "diet" on Monday. LOL... MILLIONS of people make this same promise every weekend, and fail to follow-through.
- You or someone you know says they're going to start working out. Weeks and months go by. Nothing has changed.
In fact, here's more promises people make and rarely follow-through on:
- Saying they're going to read more...
- Get to bed earlier...
- Wake up earlier...
- Work less...
- Get outside more...
- See family/friends more often...
- Stop smoking...
- Watch less TV....
- Start a business...
I'm not trying to pick on anyone... it's just that for whatever reason, we are bad at following through on what we say we're gonna do. SO... what does this mean? Well... there's a HUGE opportunity. If you DO follow through, you're in the minority. Which means you can achieve things most can't and won't.
(Ever wonder why very few people are walking around with a six-pack?)
So... you might be wondering what made me bring this up today?
I was inspired to write this by someone who recently commented on one of my Facebook ads.
It was an ad promoting one of our case studies (...might be the same one you saw before joining my email list).
So what did this person say?
I'm paraphrasing, but he said:
'eCommerce is saturated. No one is making money.'
LOL...
The gig is up!
Did every eCommerce store owner in the world conspire to create a false narrative that Facebook ads can actually generate sales?
LOL (again).
But you know what... this person who commented is technically not incorrect.
Because you see... in his "world," he's right.
Basic math (*drumroll please*).
Let's say 100 people talk about starting their own business (online or offline, any type of business).
Stop and think for a second...
Seriously... how many people have you heard talk about starting their own business?
TONS!
Let's say 25 out of those 100 people actually explore it further, by reading or buying a program (it probably won't be that many people... WAY less actually).
Let's say 10 of those 25 actually decide to invest and go for it (again...we're being gracious here with this number).
And then 2 of those 10 actually go "ALL-IN," like balls to the wall, nothing can stop me mentality.
In other words... they don't dabble, but really give it EVERYTHING they have.
To be honest, 2 is still a high number in this example.
It's probably 1 or less...
And even for those that DO start, many times at the first sign of a challenge, they grab their ball and go home.
"This doesn't work... no one is making money." I'm using this example above (the comment on my ad) to illustrate how powerful SIMPLE concepts can be in life and business.
- The simple act of ACTUALLY following through on what you say you're going to do.
- The simple act of understanding that this takes a different mindset and set of skills than you currently have... and doing what's necessary to attain them.
In fact, when I shared these thoughts with our community, here's what one of our most successful students had to say:
